Climb the sky Climb the sky Nederlands Dans Theater 2 Climb the sky introduces an inspiring new voice to the company, Noé Soulier, and marks Crystal Pite's first collaboration with the NDT 2 dancers for her work Ten Duets on a Theme of Rescue (2013).
The dancers of NDT 2 are currently full on creating with choreographer Noé Soulier for their
November 22, 2018. Two young American dancers, Mikaela Kelly and Jordan Pelliteri (a former DS Cover Model Search finalist !), recently landed their dream jobs with the prestigious second company NDT 2, of Nederlands Dans Theater. So they packed up and headed abroad, ditching NYC subway trains for bicycles in The Hague, Netherlands.

„Climb the sky!" is the official name of the compilation. Climbing the sky then becomes a rescue. Or the hope of salvation. Climbing as the pursuit towards the top can be recognized in the last choreography of the evening, „Out of Breath" for six dancers, created by Johan Inger for NDT2 in 2002.

A final new piece, Impasse, by Johan Inger, gets us closer to the dancers' youthful freedom. A trio, at first playfully carefree, are subsumed by encroaching tribes, first a black-clad clan.
